MATH 210 Statistics for the Sciences
Students will develop critical statistical literacy skills essential for interpreting and analyzing scientific research findings. Topics covered include hypothesis testing, regression analysis encompassing linear and linear mixed models, generalized linear models, multivariate analysis, dimension reduction techniques, and classification methods. Through practical applications and theoretical concepts, students will understand the relevance of these statistical techniques in scientific research contexts. Point-and-Click statistical software such as SPSS and JMP will be used.
