CHEM 212 Chemical Basis of Life
The fundamental concepts developed in CHEM 111: Chemical Basis of Matter are applied to the study of organic molecules and functional groups and their importance to biochemical structures. The structure, properties, nomenclature, and reactions of the different classes of organic and biochemical compounds are discussed as well as isomerism and metabolism and their biochemical applications to the health sciences.
