SOCJ 216 Juvenile Justice
This course provides a detailed overview of the history and development of the juvenile justice system in the United States, in addition to examining its current structure and relationship to the adult criminal justice system. Landmark United States Supreme Court cases influencing the evolution of juvenile justice in America will be studied. Current issues and trends in Juvenile Justice reform will also be explored.
