ART 317 Modern Architecture

This course traces the major tendencies of American and European architecture from the 18^th to the 20^th century. Students will examine the roots of Modern architecture in relation to culture and society, and will focus on issues concerning style, technology, urbanism, regionalism, organicism, and reform.
