Applied Behavior Analyst Certification

Program Purpose
The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination. These additional requirements are described by the BACB.
Description of Program
This program begins the sequence in the Fall session. The six-course sequence is then completed in four semesters.
Prerequisites
The Applied Behavior Analyst certification program can be completed as a concentration within a Master of Education for candidates holding certification in Special Education or as a stand-alone program for candidates holding a master’s degree in Special Education or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) approved related field.
