Financial Aid
Financial aid is designed to help families offset the cost of a post-secondary education. A student’s financial aid package can be made up of grants and scholarships, which do not have to be repaid; loans, which must be repaid with interest; and student employment, which allows students to earn money.
More than 74 percent of East Stroudsburg University students receive some type of financial assistance. The more than $75 million in financial aid distributed to students during the 2014-2015 academic year included funding through grants, scholarships, loans, university employment and miscellaneous awards.
