ENGL 218 Sports Writing

The course will deal with the techniques of daily reporting and feature writing about sports events, personalities, and issues. Emphasis will be given to newspaper and magazine writing, with some photojournalism required. Editorial skills will also be taught so that students can take their manuscript copy through the editing process to the printed page.
